Mr Summer, Miss Winter

They drew Mr Summer (an anti-hero) and Miss Winter.

Then we talked about them. This is the truth behind the seasons:

We practiced the seasons round and round the table :)
Then we did a listening game about the weather.

You can practice more with this game:

Then we made a video about the bear an what bears do on February 2nd.

Then it was obvious that February also means fancy dress parties, and parties mean dance. Marci seems to consider dancing as some sort of an awkward pursuit, so he was not too enthusiastic ...

This is the music we danced to using only very few body parts:

What's around in February? This is my plan:

We played the soft football  game to discuss what happens in winter (December, January, February) and what in summer (June, July, August)

Their birthdays are in summer. Summer is hot and sunny, winter is cold and snowy. They go skiing in winter but they don't swim in Lake Balaton. Marci eats icecream in winter!!!!!

We learned a trick that has not too much to do with February, only the words HOT and COLD ....
